Director's Note:
When I was in ninth grade I had the privilege of being a Kit Kat dancer in my high school's spring musical of CABARET. This is when I really fell in love with dance. I have always enjoyed using the artform of dance to help enhance emotion and elevate a storyline. Cabaret is a dream show for that! Also when I was in ninth grade, 9/11 happened. It was an eerie time of unrest and here we are again.
On a more serious note, I think we can all see that the performing arts, now more than ever, are crucial to helping support our communities and bringing people together in a safe space. I want to thank the Board of Trustees, the production team and the tech crew for supporting my dream in making Cabaret a reality right now, when history is repeating itself right outside our doors. I feel honored to put on this production right now.
