...Our Impact...

Our staff consists of program directors, peer specialists with lived experience and a clinical director who has been a licensed therapist for 25 years working in behavioral health. Find Your Light has been developing, coordinating, and implementing groups and intensive community-based opportunities under the umbrella of Drama, Art, Dance/Movement, Music Therapies for the past 15 years as a whole. In 2025, Find Your Light provided life-saving, intensive clinical care to 85 Medicaid high-risk and ostracized youth, achieving a 95% graduation rate. With a participant base of 50% Medicaid-insured, 25% uninsured, and 25% "other insurance", our programming directly reduced behavioral issues, improved self-esteem, and prevented suicide and hospitalizations, delivering critical, accessible care to vulnerable youth.

Find Your Light actively addresses the need(s) to promote accessibility for our underserved participants which include  LGBTQIA2S+ (75%), BIPOC (60%), other underserved communities with various marginalized identities whether that be ethnic, racial, mental health challenges, ASD diagnosis, etc..

Find Your Light has bridged systemic health gaps in Larimer County by using theatre as a catalyst for healing, connection, and identity development. Led by staff with lived experience, our collaborative programming empowers vulnerable individuals to build resilience and self-worth. By providing inclusive, 'come-as-you-are' support, both on stage and behind the scenes, we offer a safe home base that has prevented crisis and suicide. We foster personal growth by tailoring our wraparound services to the specific, evolving needs of our participants.

FYL has been recognized by county programs as offering a space where members were having successful outcomes and families’ amazing experiences. Through our combined artistic and therapeutic gifts and organizational strengths we can offer a unique service model and customized approach to help the local needs of children and adults with emotional and/or behavioral health complex needs thrive in their communities.

Find Your Light is more than an extracurricular activity. It is a home away from home where our

daughter has found community, acceptance, inspiration and love. When she struggles with her mental health, FYL is on the top of her list of reasons to keep pushing. The adults at FYL all prioritize mental health and go above and beyond to check in on the students and young adults they interact with. Through FYL, our daughter has learned tools for coping with anxiety and gained confidence she previously lacked. She has grown immensely over the last several years and has discovered her passion for theater, costume design and photography.” - A.C.
